Treiden, Hahn, St Petersburg 1894-1899 the body gold and enamel, featuring twin blue dragons chasing the celestial flaming pearl, struck to reverse with full maker's mark in Cyrillic , 56 standard height 10cm; 3 3/16 in. Carl Hahn, for whom Alexander A. Treiden worked, is known to have been commissioned by foreign courts for the purpose of creating official decorations due to his esteemed reputation in the field. |
